When Peace Is Slain

All over the world there is chaos and turmoil. There are wars being raged and blood staining the soil.
And our motivations are such a disgrace, Fighting over things like religion and race.
We attack foreign evils when we are willing, But who's really bad when both sides are killing?
Although through history everyone always tries, You can't make a man see through another man's eyes.

TrappedI am trapped, I'm afraid, I am lost and I'm alone. Though many care about me, I feel I'm on my own.
I've no smiles, I've no courage, I've no pride, and I've no hope, And with all of these bad qualities, I don't know how to cope.

I'm Back

Hey everybody, or at least the one or two of you that actually look at my profile every once in a while. I've decided that I really don't have anything on my DeviantArt page, so I've got to fill it up a bit. Currently I'm at work on another poem, but, like my first, it took quite a long time to make. I seem to get surges of inspiration once in a blue moon, and inspiration struck me when I happened to be a little down, so it's not the nicest poem I've written, but I've gotta finish it nonetheless. I've got some other ideas in the works, too, and I'm always open to suggestions. Stay classy everybody.
